Ever since, the BTS members started releasing their solo albums, they have been breaking records and hitting headlines. First, Jimin released his solo album ‘Face’ breaking records and now the second member Suga is on the run.
He released his solo album ‘D-Day’ last month which is grabbing the records. As reported by the Recording Industry Association of Japan, Suga’s solo album ‘D-DAY’, released on April 21st, recorded more than 100,000 mounting shipments in the country and obtained gold certification.
Previously ‘D-DAY’ captured No. 1 in Japan’s Oricon Weekly Digital Album Ranking and Daily Album Ranking. ‘D-DAY’ sold more than 1.07 million copies on its first day of release, becoming a million seller and creating a new record for the highest number of sales on the first day of its release among the albums of other Solo Korean artists.
Now time will reveal how many records and record-breakings will be set by the BTS members.
