The Spider-Man trilogy concluded with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which broke many MCU fans’ hearts. They have been clamouring for him to appear in another Marvel film. So far, it has only been claimed that Tom has inked a new contract to feature in a new Spider-Man trilogy, as well as many additional MCU crossovers. However, no date for Spider-Man 4 has been confirmed, leaving many fans wondering when the next Spidey film would be released. Initially, speculations stated that Marvel was planning a July 2024 release, but it was impossible because Marvel had already booked a release date.
Marvel has yet to reveal their Spider-Man Universe (SSU) schedule following Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (March 29, 2024). However, according to a recent speculation, the studio will release the fourth Tom Holland-starring Spidey flick.
Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, a popular scooper, recently responded to a fan who requested Spider-Man 4 information. He asserted that Sony “recently did something related to [Spider-Man 4] and would expect an announcement later this year about it.” Then he predicted that the reveal might not take place at SDCC 2023 because Sony normally does not have a panel there.
