Boney Kapoor revealed the precise location of the wedding ceremony for the first time on the occasion of his and Sridevi’s 27th wedding anniversary.
The 27th wedding anniversary of film producer Boney Kapoor and his late wife Sridevi was marked by a brief but meaningful post. Along with a wonderful image from their trip to Venice, he specified the precise day, year, and location of their wedding. During their boat ride in Venice, they are both seen smiling for the camera while wearing matching black jackets. Sharing the picture on Instagram, Boney Kapoor simply wrote, “1996 2nd June we got married in Shirdi, today we complete 27yrs.” Designer Manish Malhotra and many others dropped heart emojis in reaction to the post. Boney spoke candidly about Sridevi’s absence in 2019 and how it will never be replaced. The good intentions and goodwill that she left behind are something that we can live with, he had stated, “Today this hoover, this void, cannot be replaced… She is present in my thoughts, alongside my kids. Every moment of every day, not just me but even my children feel the loss of her. We must accept this as a fact of life. Unfortunately, she was taken from us earlier than anyone had anticipated.
Boney Kapoor had 2 wives. Boney’s first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor had died of cancer in 2012. They have a son, actor Arjun Kapoor, 37, and daughter, Anshula Kapoor, 32. Sridevi was his second wife who had died in February 2018 in UAE after attending a family wedding. They have two daughters, Janhvi, 26, and Khushi Kapoor, 22. After Sridevi’s death, Boney has found support in his four kids who are now very close to each other.
