Elvish Yadav wins Bigg Boss OTT 2 – makes history
In yesterday’s final episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav turned tables by becoming the winner of the season. What’s special about this is, he’s the first wild card participant in the history of Bigg Boss to win the show. Now that makes him a man to be remembered.
Elvish Yadav entered Bigg Boss as a wild card entry with Aashika Bhatia. Initially, he took some time to gel up with the house members. Because his way of talking was considered ‘hostile’, he ended up offending several people on the set by accident. We’ve seen countless clips of his arguments with Jiya Shankar, Avinash Sachdev and others floating around the internet but that didn’t stop Elvish from reaching his end goal – owning the game.
Since he entered the game halfway through, he had to double his pace of blending with the house. But, he didn’t want that at the cost of changing who he originally was, just to fit in people’s cookie moulds. He wasn’t afraid to call a spade a spade which several house members disliked but the audience seemed to love. Outside the BB world, people started recognizing him for his authenticity and he instantly topped the voting list. While others have been shedding blood and tears from day one to collect votes, Elvish Yadav became the charm of everyone’s eyes in a wink.
On that occasion, the winner’s story must be rolled and screened. To know why he deserves to be the winner, we must first know where he started in life.
Born in Haryana, Elvish was initially Siddharth Yadav. When he discovered YouTube, he started making videos. Today, he has 2 channels that have 17 million+ followers combined. The time Elvish started, getting a fanbase so high was like moving mountains because at the time, YouTubing wasn’t even considered productive, unlike now.
Abhishek Malhan, another contestant from the BB house made it to the finals and became a runner-up. He was famous outside the premises for his conflict with Bebika Dhurve and his cute friendship with Manisha Rani. Clips of both have made the world known who Abhishek Malhan is. For the unversed, he’s the brother of the famous YouTuber ‘Triggered Insaan’ and has a channel of his own named ‘Fukra Insaan’ with millions of subscribers. He makes fun bingeworthy videos for the general public.
