After the huge success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan is reportedly gearing up to take the franchise forward. And interestingly, the third instalment is on cards.
The popular horror comedy franchise Bhool Bhulaiyaa, starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in 2007 and the film received a sequel in 2022 with Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in the lead roles.
Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, one of the year’s greatest moneymakers, acquired the note ‘blockbuster’ for its huge success at the Bollywood box office.
The producer of the film, Bhushan Kumar told Pinkvilla, “We are definitely making Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Kartik Aaryan. We are right in the process of figuring out the gap that we need between part 2 and part 3. The expectations are sky-high and we are now thinking about how to take the franchise forward. At the moment, we are jamming on the script. All the stakeholders are clear – the idea of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 needs to be big and unique.”
