Barbie beats The Dark Night

The sensational billion-dollar film just broke another record. Greta Gerwig’s Barbie beats Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece The Dark Knight to become Warne Bros’s highest-grossing domestic release. We do now live in the Barbie land.

The Darknight trilogy is adopted from DC Comics, is directed by Christopher Nolan and produced by Warner Bros Studios and is said to be the highest-grossing domestic release in the history of Warner Bros to date. Now Barbie is the highest-grossing domestic release.

It is reported that Warner Bros willfully released the sensational Barbie film on the same day as Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer as he rejected to direct a DC Comics film recommended by the studios. Barbie undoubtedly gave tough competition and is the sole reason for Oppenheimer’s low box office collections. Barbie is the first film directed by a woman to collect 1 billion dollars. Barbie crosses USD 537 million at the domestic box office, surpassing The Dark Knight to become the highest-grossing domestic release for Warner Bros.
