Sudipto Sen’s film, The Kerala Story, ventures beyond the idyllic postcard image of Kerala, India. This film is now being telecasted in the Doordarshan today at 8pm. As this film had to face alot of controversies and took 6 months for an OTT release. This film is the raw and rustic form of portrayal of reality. Now that the film is being telecasted, There is a petition filed against this decision. The petition requested the DD channel to withdraw the decision of telecasting the film as it is in appropriate to the society.
