Bollywood famous actor Anil Kapoor who is currently embracing the success from his recent film Animal recalls the early days of his career, says his father didn’t help him.
From a challenging start to an illustrious four-decade career, Anil Kapoor’s journey in the Hindi film industry is a testament to his talent and tenacity. At 66, he continues to shine, carving his path despite being the son of producer Surinder Kapoor, who insisted he forge his destiny in Bollywood.
In a recent interview, Anil talked about his father’s contribution to his acting career. He mentioned that unlike what most would have thought, his father was quite clear from the first day that he wouldn’t do anything for him. Elaborating more, he said, “He very clearly told me that ‘I cannot do anything for you’ and I never expected him to do anything for me. So from the day, I felt instinctive, I said, ‘It’s time for me to get out, go to the battlefield, and fight it out.”
