Ananya Panday returns to the silver screens after an unexpectedly long break from the failure of her Tollywood debut Liger.
The actress began her career in 2019 with a teen role in Student of the Year. She received criticism for her performance in Pati Patni Aur Woh, Khaalie Peli and her Telugu debut film Liger, but her performance in the romantic drama Gehraiyaan was better received. Her Telugu debut Liger received backlash and was trolled for her poor intolerant performance.
The actress has yet to have a promising performance in her five-year career. She eagerly awaits the release of her new film Dream Girl 2 with Ayushmaan Kuhrrana. The film is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is scheduled to hit the theatre this Friday.
