He ultimately stopped drinking, but his life and work remained extremely volatile. Her parents strove to allow her to experience their privilege. She recognises this. If she doesn’t do well tomorrow and stops getting films, she will be stuck. She’ll always admit that she has such wonderful possibilities, so she can never really complain.
