In a subsequent tweet, ANI disclosed that the arms suppliers had been remanded to the custody of the Mumbai Crime Branch. The portal stated, “The Esplanade Court in Mumbai has directed both arms suppliers to be held in Mumbai Crime Branch custody until April 30th.”

Identified as Sonu Subhash Chander and Anuj Thapan, the two individuals were implicated by the Mumbai Crime Branch for their alleged involvement in providing firearms to the shooters, namely Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta. Additionally, law enforcement officials highlighted a potential connection between the arrested arms suppliers and the Bishnoi gang, indicating a network of communication between the parties.
