Once again, something similar happened as she graced the Gucci store launch in Mumbai. Many netizens on X started calling the actress a ‘hypocrite’ on Reddit. The caption on the post read: “Poacher producer Alia Bhatt promoting Calf Leather Bag.”
In his post, a Reddit user named Fine Farm 8583 revealed that Alia Bhatt was carrying a bag worth $2800 made of ‘calfskin’. The user posted a picture of the actress holding the bag in her hand and mentioned the price and the Google search for ‘calfskin’ indicating that the bag comprises cows as young as three.
One user called 70% of the celebrities dumb and wrote: “How can you expect her to be that smart common😂 70% of people from Bollywood are either too dumb or think of us as too stupid.”
Another user commented, “This could have been avoided by NOT carrying that bag. At least not in public. Be a hypocrite like everyone else, but at least be smart enough to do it behind the camera.”
