Akshay Kumar fans have good news. The actor, who has seen success with OMG 2 theatrically, is busy shooting for his lined-up film that will be released in 2024. One of the films that is going to be with the third instalment is Jolly LLB.
Jolly franchise, helmed by Subhash Kapoor, is set to commence shooting for its third franchise in the summer of 2024. Reportedly, the title is Jolly vs Jolly. Much like the earlier two films of the franchise, this one will also be a comedy against the backdrop of the Indian judiciary.
“It’s basically Jolly vs Jolly, and the entire cast is excited to start shooting this ambitious film for the Jolly LLB franchise. The team is still contemplating two titles – Jolly LLB 3 or Jolly vs. Jolly – and a call will be taken closer to the announcement. The film is expected to start around May 2024 with a marathon schedule. This time, the face-off is between two Jolly, played by Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. Subhash has cracked a script that utilizes the comic timing and camaraderie shared by two and is set to take the audience on a ride in cinema halls in 2025,” said the source close to the film development.
