Akkineni Family Hero Akhil made his debut with the film ‘Sisindri’ as an infant in 1995. After 19 years, he appeared in the film ‘Manam’ where all the generations of the Akkineni Family acted. He made a cameo appearance to introduce himself to the audience and to be present in the family picture.
He made his debut film as the Lead Actor in the film ‘Akhil’, an action fantasy film directed by VV Vinayak. Later he appeared in the film ‘Hello’ beside Kalyani Priyadarshan based on the concept of destiny’ in 2017. After this, he appeared in ‘Mr. Majnu’ as a playboy in 2019. Next, he appeared in the film ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ in 2021.
Now, this actor is all set to entertain the audience with his next film ‘Agent’. A spy action thriller film directed by Surender Reddy. During this film promotion, Akhil was asked why he is taking so much gap between two successive films.
Akhil replied saying, ‘I prefer Quality over Quantity. When my first movie failed, I wanted to learn more things and find myself. I wanted to get clarity on what I want to do and what I am doing. There are a few delays due to covid but I am also working on myself to provide quality content to the viewers. And I will be taking some more time to announce my next movie too’. Agent film will hit the screens on 28th April 2023.
