Akhil Akkineni made his debut with ‘Sisindhri’ in 1995 as an infant. He made his debut as a lead actor with ‘Akhil’ released in 2015. The movie was a disaster. Akhil developed a huge fan base even before he made his entry into the industry as the hero with the cameo appearance in the film ‘Manam’. His other films were Hello, Mr Majnu, and Most Eligible Bachelor. None of the films got hit except the last film with Pooja Hegde’s ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’. This movie managed to gain good talk and entertained the audience.
His upcoming film is ‘Agent’, directed by Surender Reddy. It is a spy action thriller film which is set to release on 28th April. The film was announced in 2020 and was tentatively titled ‘Akhil 5’. The teaser of the film was released a few months back, Akhil can be seen in a new look with six pack body and a different hairstyle. Fans went crazy with that look.
The film stars Mammootty in the important role and Sakshi Vaidya is playing the lead actress. On the occasion of Akhil’s birthday, the makers released two posters from the film which increased the hype of the film. Fans are reacting and commenting on the poster saying this movie would definitely be a hit. Let’s see, how this movie goes and if it would give him his career’s biggest hit.
