Aamir Khan says he rejected Rajini’s role in Robo

The perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan is probably the only actor in Bollywood who has been constantly giving back-to-back hits for the last 17 years of his career. However, a recent film saw a disaster. Interestingly, in one of the old interviews, Aamir made some interesting comments on the Rajini film Robo 2.0, directed by Shankar. He said he rejected the Rajini role and explained the reason.

“There’s a robot, 2.0, I am a big fan of Shankar and I am a big fan of Rajini ji. Shankar offered me that film. It’s a superb script and it’s going to do very well but whenever I used to shut my eyes, I used to see Rajini sir in that role”, he told Komal Nahta. Aamir added that he told Shankar that Rajinikanth was ‘irreplaceable’.

Though these are the words made many days back by the hero, a few of his fans shared this interview yesterday on the occasion of Aamir’s birthday and the video was going viral on Kollywood social media pages.
