The PS1 and PS2 production house Lyca Productions is currently creating buzz due to the controversies directed at it. Lyca Productions a Chennai-based production house was established by Subaskaran Allirajah an Indian Entertainment Company, distributes and produces Tamil Cinema. A few of the most popular cinemas namely, Kaththi, Enakku Innoru Per Irukku, Darbar, Don, Good Luck Jerry, Ram Setu, Ponniyin Selvan: I and Ponniyin Selvan: II directed by Mani Ratnam. The film features Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Vikram Prabhu. The film also produced one of the Megastar’s films Khaidi No. 150 starring Chiranjeevi and Kajal Agarwal.
Previously Ponniyan Selvan a historic drama was reported to have failed to find distributors for the film and currently, the production house which bankrolled the film is being considered for an investigation. A while ago a Raid took place in Lyca Productions.
The Enforcement Directorate an enforcement and economic intelligence agency raid on this top production agency led to various speculation amongst the netizens. The reason is yet to be disclosed.
