According to law enforcement sources, the woman thought she was speaking to Travis Barker on social media when, in reality, it wasn’t Travis who invited her to come to see him. Trespassing was recorded against the woman.
After a fan who was irrationally determined to meet Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker drove her car through the gate protecting his neighbourhood, a frightening situation just developed outside his house.
Travis’ gated Los Angeles neighbourhood was the target of numerous attempts by the lady on Friday, according to sources close to the singer. She allegedly made at least four attempts to enter the building but was unsuccessful each time. On her fifth try, she finally decided to take matters into her own hands by driving through the security gate. According to our sources, Travis’ private protection then allegedly intercepted the woman and detained her until the police arrived. Police sources tell us that the woman has been taken into custody.
Travis was fortunate to not be at home when the incident occurred. He had been practising with Blink 182 for their major Coachella headlining performance this Sunday, and, according to reports, he was actually on his way home when it all happened.
According to our sources, Travis’ security team instructed him to remain put as they brought everything under control. He intends to file a restraining order against her.
