Sunny Leone talks about her Cannes debut and 7 min standing ovation.

The actress and model Sunny Leone recently sat down for an interview with a prominent journalist and opened up about her journey and her Cannes debut. The actress revealed that she “was crying like a baby the entire week’ of her debut.

The actress attended  the prestigious Cannes Film Festival for her film Kennedy, in which she played Charlie, directed by Anurag Kashyap, which was screened at the film festival. The film went on to receive a 7-minute standing ovation!

While talking about the experience, she said that there were two sides, one being the film, which she was extremely happy and proud to be a part of, and the other was her journey to get there. The actress said laughingly, “If you told me  when I stepped foot in the Big Boss house that I, 10 years later, 11 years later, would be walking at the Cannes Films Festival, I would’ve told you to go f*ck yourself.”

She went on to say that the Cannes experience meant so much more to her because of the “crazy journey” she has had. Sunny continues saying that she was trying really hard not to cry during all the interviews and events, “I was, you know, trying so hard to not be full on crying. There were tears but trying really hard not to just start balling my eyes out.”

The actress recalled that while she was attending someone remarked, ‘OMG she’s crying again, to which Sunny remembers thinking, “I’m okay with that, because I never want this moment to end, this feeling of this accomplishment and this feeling of feeling proud and this feeling of feeling like I made it this far like I never want that to go away.”
