Kriti Sanon’s bold take on Nepotism

Kriti Sanon, the most prominent actress in the Indian film industry, enchanted the audience with her acting and won a National Award for her fabulous performance in Mimi. She shared the award with Alia Bhatt, who won for Gangubai Kathiawadi. During her successful nine-year career in the film industry, she has frequently been asked to share her opinion on Nepotism.

In a recent interaction with a famous magazine, Kriti Sanon was asked about the unequal distribution of opportunities in the industry for aspiring actors who do not come from an influential background. Sanon answered that the film industry should become more inclusive of outsiders who may possess more talent.

The actress said, “The industry can become more accessible for outsiders if we create equal opportunities. If you are launching someone from the industry, make sure you are also giving space to someone who doesn’t belong but is probably more talented.” Being a well-known actress, she acknowledges the hardships that an outsider has to go through to get a single opportunity and says the change can be seen as she added, “slowly, very slowly, the world is tilting towards talent and scripts rather than stars and big names,” and it is true because during the COVID phase, audiences were exposed to content from all over the world. They expect new and different content every time. This change in viewers has unlocked many platforms to showcase talent.

Kriti Sanon last appeared alongside Tiger Shroff in Gananth, directed by Vikas Bahl. The movie didn’t do well at the box office, failing to entertain the audience. Sanon will be seen romancing Shahid Kapoor in her upcoming romantic film, the title of which has yet to be decided by the film unit.
