Very few people are acquainted with the fact that Uppalapati Venkata Krishnam Raju’s career took a shift through Prabhas’s father Satyanarayana Raju’s production Bhakta Kanappa. The film happens to be a classic to date. The late actor cum politician planned on directing his nephew in the remake but it remained a dream. Sources suggest Manchu Vishnu who is currently working on a similar storyline has offered the role of Lord Shiva to the Pan-Indian star Prabhas. The offer has been made long back but the official confirmation from the Saahi actor is yet to be made.
