The Internet was overtaken when this news was riding on social media. As per the ongoing buzz, Super Star Rajinikanth will team up with Suryah’s director TJ Gnanavel who made Jai Bhim with Suryah. They both will work under the label of Lyca Productions.
Two months earlier, Lyca Productions announced two projects with Thalaivar. As per rumours, One will be in the direction of Cibi Chakravarthy. No official announcements are made on directors’ names. But as per the latest buzz, the director TJ Gnanavel is almost finalised for the project with Rajini Sir.
Tentatively titled Thalaivar 170 will be the second venture for Rajini sir under Lyca after Robot 2.0. Currently, Rajini is doing Jailer and will release in early 2023.
The Jailer is Helmed by Nelson Dileep Kumar and is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran, which has Anirudh’s musicals. The film’s star-studded cast includes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Priyanka Mohanan, Ramya Krishna and others. Recently Malayam star actor Mohanlal also joined the list.
