Agastya Nanda is one of the star actors in The Archies, which was released in 2023 and directed by Zoya Akhtar. Along with Agastya Nanda, the movie casts other star kids, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi “Dot” Saigal and Yuvraj Menda.
Among all the star kids from The Archies, the director of the upcoming movie Merry Christmas, Sriram Raghavan, chose to cast Agastya Nanda in his next film, making Nanda’s second project. The movie’s title is also released, and it is called Ikkis.
In an interview, Sriram recently revealed why he chose Agastya among other actors in The Archies. he said, “He’s a guy who is refreshingly normal, and there are no bells and whistles. I have seen his The Archies and I loved the film, I loved his character and many other characters in the film. So I know he knows the process of the film and now I am looking at diving with him into more subjects.”
The Merry Christmas director also recalled his first meeting with Agastya Nanda and said that Nanda reminded him of young Amithab Bachchan from Bachchan’s initial films. He added that Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, got Amitab’s cham and Lokks alike, and he is enthusiastically looking forward to working with Amithab’s grandson, Agastya Nanda.
