Sidharth Malhotra Shares The Possibility Of Him Playing Negative Roles

The handsome hunk Sidharth Malhotra is gearing up for his action thriller series Indian Police Force, in which the actor has played the role of a cop for the first time. The series is directed by Rohit Shetty and features prominent actors, including Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi. During a recent interview, the actors asked if he would play a negative lead in the film. This is what the actor had to say.

In 2014, Sidharth Malhotra played a grey character in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain, and the audience loved him in the role. When asked if there is any possibility of him again appearing on the big screens in a grey shade, the actor said, “Yeah. I think but in Ek Villain, at its core, the character had a good motivation even though it was a very aggressive character doing wrong things in his past. But his present journey was because of a love story. Because of an emotional reason. It was my third film. It was more challenging and more daunting back then, to portray a more silent, brooding character.” He also clarified that he is not against the idea of acting in a negative role. The actor continued, “At present, I’m not averse to it. It’s something that I am also possibly looking. So it’s up to the writers and director if something interesting comes up, of course. Why not?” After listening to his take on working in a negative role, we can surely expect to see him in a dark, negative, bold role that will stand out among his other characters.
