Rashmika Mandanna, with her recent film Animal, is gaining attention in Bollywood. Animal is the highest opening film for the actress to date, and she is already busy shooting for her next venture.
Actor, writer, and director Rahul Ravindran announced a new project featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the lead. Following the blockbuster hit with Animal, Rashmika is back in Hyderabad and starts shooting for her first schedule, which is being shot on the city’s outskirts.
Buzz is that the film ‘The Girlfriend’ is not a love story. In the first 20-day schedule, Rashmika will be seen shooting action sequences. The film is also said to have many thrills and fighting blocks that will mesmerise the audience.
Rashmika is said to have practised martial arts for the past few months and will be seen in two different avatars. Rahul Ravindran, who helmed the film, will also be seen in a cameo role, and the director is also trying to rope in a star hero for a unique appearance.
