Actor and director Rahul Ravindran, known for his National Award Winning film Chi La Sow, is coming up with his net project. This will be his third project as a filmmaker, followed by Chi La Sow and Manmadhudu 2.
Rashmika Mandanna, who is juggling with multiple projects in her hand, is currently busy with Animal promotions. The actress will soon start to commence shooting for The Girlfriend. The film was formally announced a month back with the teaser.
The movie had its formal pooja today in Hyderabad, which was graced by producer Allu Aravind, SKN, directors Sai Rajesh, Maruthi, Pavan Sadineni, and others. Allu Aravind initiated the shoot by holding up a clipboard and handing the script to the director.
Vidya Koppineedi and Dheeraj Mogilineni are jointly producing the film under their banners, Mass Movie Makers and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment, while Geetha Arts presented the film. Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing music for the film. Further details about the movie will be officially announced soon.
