Rashmika Mandanna, is currently busy both in South Film Industry and Bollywood. With films like Pushpa and Amitabh’s ‘Goodbye’, she is one of the few heroines, who actually made it big across the nation.
However, apart from films, the actress recently stood out in headlines because of her rumoured relationship with Vijay Deverakonda. Rashmika, who was previously engaged to ex-boyfriend Rakshit Shetty, got separated from him and later she was said to have developed a deep bond with Vijay Deverakonda on the sets of their first film Geetha Govindam.
However, neither Vijay nor Rashmika announced their relationship officially. But right from the couple left for Maldives at the same time and from the same airport last week, the rumours of their relationship are gaining more strength. Meanwhile, Rashmika’s interview given to IBT, in 2020 was going viral on social media once again.
In an interview given to IBT, in 2020 Rashmika said “During Geetha Govindam, we were just friends, but there was a kind of spark that we could not ignore. At times, my heart kept saying ‘he is special, he is special.’ However, the equation changed once we started working together in Dear Comrade”.
She further said, “At a point, I confessed my love to Vijay Deverakonda, but he was hesitant initially, but he too had that special feeling towards me. So, he accepted, and we are happy with the way our love has blossomed. He isn’t an insecure person like my ex-boyfriend Rakshit Shetty nor suggests that I sacrifice my career. He is a free-minded person and wants me to be independent forever.”
These words from Rashmika have resurfaced in Social media again among the wildfire rumours of their relationship. Although both of them maintain a statement of being good friends, all these things are certainly adding fuel that the pair is more than friends!
