After delivering three back-to-back hits with Brahmastra: Part 1 – Shiva, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Animal, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to start the shooting of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, where he will portray Lord Rama.
It is symbolic, and if you have even closed your eyes, you can recognise a dialogue based on Ranbir’s voice. In Ramayana, Nitesh wants to make sure he sounds different from the characters he’s played in the past. Being a versatile actor, he is enjoying this process of trying something new.”
As per reports, Tiwari has created a separate team for the diction and dialogue department of the film that will closely work with the actors. Sources also told the publication that there’s a particular emphasis on the costumes.
Ranbir Kapoor will stay away from alcohol and meat during the shoot of Ramayana. Sources also informed, “These are not things he would avoid just for his public image, but also as a dedicated actor Ranbir wants to feel as pure and clean as Sri Rama. In any case, Ranbir is not into late nights and wild parties.” With no official release date announced yet, the makers are aiming for a date in 2025.
