We all know the beautiful love story of Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz and how Shah Jahan built ‘The Taj Mahal’ as a symbol of love and tribute to his dead wife. Now, ‘The Taj Mahal’ is one of the world’s seven wonders.
Now, a man in Tamil Nadu also followed in the footsteps of Shah Jahan and built the exact replica of the Taj Mahal as a tribute to his beloved mother. Amrudheen Sheikh Dawood son of Abdul Kadhar and Jailani Bheevi constructed the replica of the Taj Mahal in a large area of 5 acres of land in Thiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu. Now the latest buzz is that impressed with this, a Kollywood director is planning to shoot some scenes at this Taj Replica. There is also news in film circles that a star hero is acting in the film and his few scenes will be shot there. However, there is no official or clear information on the same.
For the unversed, Amrudheen’s father passed away when he was very young. Amrudheen along with his four sisters were raised by their mother Jailani and Amrudheen loves her more than anything in the world. In 2020, Jailani breathed her last at the age of 70 due to heart-related issues. Amrudheen was devastated by his mother’s death and as a tribute to her mother, he constructed a memorial of ‘Taj Mahal’ just for his mother. He spent nearly 5 crores constructing Taj Mahal’s replica and placed Jailani’s portrait as well as her tomb In the memorial. The memorial also invites normal visitors as well.
On every full moon day, Amrudheen prepares and serves biriyani to poor people on behalf of his mother. Even the neighbours and netizens are appreciating him for his never-ending love towards his mother.
