The popular director of Bollywood Karan Johar is getting ready to destroy another blockbuster film, Pariyerun Perumal. Yes, he is planning on remaking this hit film. Karan’s last film was ‘Selfiee’ which he produced and it was a disaster at the box office. Karan is hated by most of the audience and many were disappointed when the news of the remake was told.
Pariyerum Perumal is a Tamil drama film which is directed by Mari Selvaraj, his directorial debut. The film stars Kathir, Anandhi and Yogi Babu in the lead roles. The movie is about the cast discrimination and the violence is shown which is done in the name of the cast. This shows us how the people used to suffer because of the cast, how lower cast people were treated and troubled by upper cast people.
The film received positive reviews, few told that the climax has the most touching moments and also that the movie eventually tries to find solutions within the caste system itself. The film got good collections at the box office. According to the reports, for the Hindi remake of the movie Karan is planning to cast ‘Siddhant Chaturvedi‘ for the lead role. The news about Karan remaking this film is not official yet.
