Ms. Spears and Mr. Asghari tied the knot on June 9, 2022, in Thousand Oaks, California. Notable guests at the wedding included Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, and Madonna.
Reportedly, Mr. Asghari, as per TMZ, mentioned “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. He is also requesting spousal support from the star and asking for his attorney’s fees to be covered.
“The document cites that Sam is still in the process of assessing the complete details of the separate property assets and responsibilities of both parties,” the outlet reported from the document.
“It is noted that there exist different shared and quasi-shared assets and debts, the complete details of which are presently undisclosed to Sam,” the document added.
