Deepika reacts to Ranveer as Don:
Ranveer Singh is currently basking in the success of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. His portrayal of ‘Rocky’ is winning hearts, with women around the world saying “main Bhi ek Rocky Randhawa deserve karthi hoon” (I also deserve a Rocky Randhawa.)
Quick to continue his winning streak and use his current moment, Excel Movies have dropped a first-look teaser presenting Ranveer as the new Don. Though the replacement of SRK as Don is creating some mixed reviews, one person who was thrilled about the new era of Don was his wife and actor Deepika Padukone.
The Piku actress shared the teaser with her husband as the new Don on her Instagram story with the sticker reading “Boom” conveying her full support to the team and her partner. She wasn’t the only Bollywood celebrity to be on board with the new age of Don.
Zoya Akhtar, Farhan’s sister and Ranveer’s director in Gully Boy and Dil Dhadakne Do, commented “I (red heart emoji) You. Designer Manish Malhotra dropped hearts and fire emojis in the comments. Karisma Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Kriti Sanon, Arjun Kapoor and others also liked the video. Kiara Advani, who was spotted stepping out of Akhtar’s office, rumored to be reprising Priyanka Chopra’s role, also liked the post.
In the teaser, Ranveer looks suave in an all-black outfit. The small snippet has everything from spectacular visuals to a great background score and dialogue that packs a punch. Don 3 is set to be released in 2025.
