Once Shah Rukh Khan makes his mark on a movie, it becomes his informal copyright. It gets glued to his identity because of his flooding talent showcasing in the movies. Any cast brought in as a replacement is regarded as a downgrade of the movie’s franchise. That’s exactly the case with the Don franchise. Farhan Akhtar, the maker of Don 3 was dealing with issues regarding Jee Le Zara in the near past which led him to pace down his projects. Today, he announced Don 3 with Ranveer Singh as a replacement lead and the audience doesn’t sound even close to delighted about it.
Ranveer Singh has a stardom of his own. After his latest superhit Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, the love for him has deepened in his fans. He’s popular for romance and comedy but with the Don franchise, the phrase ‘Some things are better kept as is’ stands true. Netizens are hell-bent on boycotting Don 3 and it’s indicating towards a major downfall in the BO collections of the movie post-release.
