Bang Ye-dam is a South Korean singer known and former member of the boy band TREASURE. He is a runner-up of the reality show K-pop Star. Recently in 2022, he withdrew himself from the band, terminating his contract.
Between the reality show and leaving TREASURE, there was a 7-year phase where he participated as a trainee in YG Entertainment. Very much to his fortune, he was then able to release his first digital single Wayo in 2020.
His debut catapulted his success to the sky. With 33 million views on his song and uncountable streams on other platforms, this 18-year-old boy became popular overnight, loved by millions of people from one corner of the world to another.
Irrespective of the mass love, Bang Ye-dam did not indulge in social media platforms a lot, until one fine day, he chose to change his mind and knock at their fans’ door with a surprise.
Yes, you know where I’m getting at. On his 21st birthday this 2023, he created his Instagram account and already has 955,000 followers and more to come!
