Adipurush premieres cancelled

Early premiere shows are used to create buzz before the release of the movie. Four or five days before its release, the film was successfully screened in selected towns and cities and spread some positive and negative talk about the film and attracts audiences to the theaters.

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s starrer upcoming film Adipurush directed by Om Raut is going to release on June 16 worldwide. In this context, the team is working to increase the promotion of the film and create a craze for the project. Fans are very excited for this film. With the success of the recently released trailer, the team is planning to take the hype to a further extent. In this regard, the team planned to premier the film at the prestigious Tribeca Festival before its release. The team planned to screen Adipurush on June 13 in the ceremony to be held from June 7 to 18 in New York.

Screening at Tribeca Festival is very crucial for any cinema and gathers massive attention for the movie which helps in its high range of promotions. But cancelling such a prestigious promotional act may result in a huge loss for the film in terms of promotions. However, according to Mumbai film sources, they have decided to cancel the early premiere shows. According to the reports, a large number of popular film critics may watch this film. So if the film gets a positive talk everything is fine but if any negative publicity arose three days prior to its release it may affect the bookings on its actual release. Adipurush already faced a lot of criticism and the team is not ready to take further risks. It is also said that there is also some censor issue for the movie and it might also be the reason for the canceling of premiers.
