In a recent interview, when asked, “As you have created your space in the industry now, do you get stressed or believe that the show being a hit or not is based on you?”
The actor replied, ” All I can do is make the initial episodes hit the highest TRP, and by god’s grace, that is what it has been so far, but the story and the writers play a crucial role in whether a show can sustain or not.”
Harshad Chopra was last seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlatha Hain as Doctor Abhimanyu alongside Akshara, played by Pranali Rathod.
The show has been recast repeatedly in the last ten years. After the exit of the first leads, Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the show was then led by Naira and Karthik, played by Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan. Abhira’s end is reported to be with the death of Abhimanyu as Akshara gives birth to a baby girl in jail and names her Abhira, currently played by Samridhii Shukla, who is also known for her voice -for famous cartoon Doraemon.
