Svetha Yallapragada Rao a Telugu girl who grew up in the States is popularly known by her stage name Raja Kumari. The Wakhra Song fame rapper reveals how she got her stage name and spills some tea on who she wants to work with in the future.

Raja Kumari stated how she got her stage name, ” Raja Kumari means the daughter of the king, and when in high school, I would be in Cyphers and I did be rapping and they would call me an Indian Princess. So, naturally, because of my obsession with Sanskrit, it became Raja Kumari and I want every man to call me a king, so that’s why I made it two words.”.

Svetha Yallapragada Rao is born to Telugu parents who settled in the USA. She was a classical dancer and after trying her luck with rapping, she set up her own company The God Mother Records which is a major label set up by a Telugu native in foreign waters.

Raja Kumari reveals that she would want to collab with Nicki Minaj in the future.
