Rajinikanth says it was his biggest mistake in life

Rajinikanth’s Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is all set to hit theatres on August 10. Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar play a cameo role in the film, that also features Ramya Krishna, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah, and Vinayakan in key roles.

Ahead of the film’s release, the movie team unveiled the audio album on Friday night in Chennai. During this audio launch event, Rajinikanth spoke about his past alcoholism. He said it was the biggest mistake of his life and advised his fans to stop drinking.

Rajini said, ” If there was no alcohol, I would have served the society. Alcoholism is the biggest mistake I have made in life. I am not saying to avoid it totally. Have alcohol when you have fun. Don’t drink regularly. It will spoil the health & happiness”.

Also, talking about Nelson’s past film, Beast, Rajinikanth said that though Vijay’s ‘Beast’ scored mixed reviews, it meant no loss for the distributors and went well at the box office.
