Prasanth Varma bags his first award for HanuMan

Prasanth Varma bags his first award for HanuMan. The filmmaker bags the best director award at the Icon Awards held by Radio City Telugu for his recent theatrical release HanuMan a superhero film. 

On the work front, the filmmaker is currently working with Anupama Parameshwaran for his next film Octopus, reportedly.

HanuMan is a sketch of a village brat, Hanumanthu(Teja Sajja), who lives with his sister, Anjamma (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar), and a loyal friend.(Kaasi-Boddupalli Srinu) Hanumanthu wanders around the village stealing and robbing people, since a child who, while robbing something, gets his heart robbed by Meenakshi(Amritha Aiyer). He sets on an adventure as he falls in love with her, and he confronts Micheal on the way the battle between a selfless person and a selfish person begins.
