Adipurush is one of the most hyped films since its inception. This mighty budget film was released last month grandly on June 16 worldwide. This mammoth film was made with 600 crores. Right from the teasers, Adipurush failed to reach a wider audience because of the many flaws in the film. As we all know, this film is based on our mythological story Ramayana.
The major backlash faced from critics was that filmmakers have not taken enough care writing the script and blindly followed the VFX technology, which can only take a film to a certain level. Om Raut, the director and his team left out many points that connect the audience with the film. Even the VFX works were not as impressive as the huge amount invested in the film.
Released with huge anticipation, the film failed to please movie-goers and it’s solely Prabhas’ stardom that saved the makers in minimising the losses. Despite having a lot of negativity and ‘flop talk’, the film managed to recover almost 80 per cent, which is quite a good number for Adipurush.
