Nag’s next with Prasanna Kumar, Original or Remake?

Who said catfights are something that women indulge in, recently there were many speculations regarding a conflict about the release of the Nagarjuna starrer film in Prasanna Kumar’s direction who has written hit films like Dhamaka. The film was supposed to release earlier than expected, but the shoot got delayed due to various conflicts between the production team and the director. It was reported that Prasanna Kumar was amazed by a Malayalam film he has watched and insisted People’s Media Factory officials to buy the rights for the film so that they can make a remake of the Malayalam film by changing bits and pieces here and there so that it can fit the Telugu audiences interest.

It is speculated that the then-official, producer Abhishek Agarwal who has produced films like Goodachaari got the rights through his franchise Abhishek Arts which later caused chaos between him and the People’s Media factory. The producer is now set to produce the film by himself and is in talks with other actors. On the other hand, Prasanna Kumar has written dialogues and a script for the Manmadhudu actor on his own and is set to attend the Pooja Ceremony for the film on 23rd March. Raj Tharun and Allari Naresh are reported to have crucial roles in the film and Srinivasa Silver Screen is in talks to produce the film. Kumar stated, ” The script and the dialogues are my piece of work and it has nothing to do with the original script” but later it was again reported that the film is going to be a remake of Poriju Mariyum Jose.

Whether the film is an original or a remake can be addressed only after the official announcement.
