Laapataa Ladies directed and co-produced by Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan Productions teaser cracked up the viewers. A relatable and hilarious teaser is out on T-Series’s official YouTube channel. Laapata Ladies stars Sparsh Srivastav and Pratibha Ranta . The film also features Nitanshi Goel, Chhaya Kadam, Satendra Soni, Samarth Mahor, Pranjal Pateriya, Raghu, and Vivek Savarikar.
Laapataa Ladies is set in a rural setting and revolves around a man who loses his wife. The couple got married 3 days ago and as they returned to his wife he happened to lose her. The police get into action, the man is tensed and drama is evoked. This comedy-crime and suspense drama shows how many places in India are still behind as they stick by the stereotypes.
The man(Sparsh Srivastav) happens to not even have his wife’s photo which reveals her face, and rather is covered by ghunghat(veil). The film is based on Biplab Goswami’s book Laapataa Ladies. The suspense is set to hit the theatres on 5th January 2024.
