At the exhibition, when the National Anthem Jana Gana Mana was being played, Kareena was seen holding her hands in the front, whereas they should be on the sides. Later, during DeepDaan, a Hindu ceremony of lighting the Diya as the commencement of a delightful occasion, she was seen wearing her heels. As a result, she received immeasurable hate for humiliating India and Hindu traditions publicly.
Kareena Kapoor originally comes from a Hindu Punjabi family but after getting married to Saif Ali Khan, she received several religiously outrageous comments, calling her anti-national and a ‘cheater’ for leaving her religion. After today’s nuance came out, people are back to the same melody. There’s a divided talk about the issue.
A fan commented, “Keep her for reading Namaz only. What is she going to know about Hindu Dharam?” while another contradicted, “Other women are standing the same way too. Why is no one pointing them out? This is unfair to Kareena, and just a way to bring religion into the argument.”
