Kannada Actress Dies After The Fat-Removal Surgery..!!

ON TUESDAY, Kannada TV actor Chethana Raj, aged just 21, died because of complications faced after fat-free cosmetic surgery as she underwent at Dr. Shetty’s Hospital, located in Bengaluru’s Rajajinagar.

As per the complaint filed by Chethana’s family on the hospital’s negligence, it is said that Chethana Raj had reportedly undergone cosmetic surgery on May 16 at Dr. Shetty’s Hospital. Soon after the surgery, she experienced substantial breathing difficulties. She was immediately shifted to another hospital (Kaade Hospital) in Manjunath Nagar.

However, when Chethana and her parents reached the Kaade hospital, the doctors declared that she was dead because she had suffered cardiac arrest.

Talking about this incident with media reporters, Chethana’s father added that they had no idea that their daughter was doing a fat-free surgery until her friends informed them. He said, “My daughter was admitted to the hospital for surgery around 8.30 am. But we didn’t know about this as she had gone to the hospital with some of her friends for the surgery”.

Reacting to the complaint filed by Chethana’s parents, DCP of North Karnataka, Vinayak Patil, told the media that this case was filed under section 174 of CrPC.
