David Beckham becomes a Virat Kohli fan! Says I came to India at the right time.

David Beckham, the UNICEF goodwill brand ambassador, is in India as part of the UNICEF India campaign and attended the ongoing trending India vs. New Zealand ICC T20  World Cup semifinals.

World-renowned ex- footballer David Beckham became a Virat Kholi fan and posted a sweat note about Virat’s half century on his Instagram story. The star footballer said, “I came to India at the right time. I’ve been here for Diwali, I’ve been here for New Year, and now I’m here for my first game in the World Cup, and it’s exceptional.”

In a conversation with the host David Beckham said , I’ve spent some time today with Sachin, and I know what he achieved in this stadium and what he achieved for his country and the sport, but then to see Virat do it today. It is truly incredible. You can see the atmosphere at the stadium. I’ve come to India for the first time at the right time. I’ve been here for Diwali, I’ve been here for New Year, and now I’m here for my first game in the World Cup, and it’s exceptional. He also gave a standing ovation after Virat reached the historic town.

David Beckham  also shared a picture of himself with the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on Instagram account and said, “What an incredible atmosphere… Thanks to @unicef and @sachintendulkar for welcoming me to the Cricket World Cup. These fans have such fantastic energy. #CWC23. The Hollywood star’s presence has garnered more glamour in this high-octane encounter.
