Blackpink is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment. The Girl Group created waves by being known as the biggest girl group in the world with enough publicity.The Girl Group debuted in 2016 with their single album Square One.The group has embarked on the Born Pink World Tour which became the highest grossing concert tour by a female group.
On September 21, YG Entertainment denied previous reports stating, There’s no confirmation regarding the renewal of BLACKPINK’s contracts and we’re in discussions. Previously speculations re that Rose was the one who chose to renew with the label while Jenny, Lisa, and Jisoo are in talks to sign with other agencies but continue as BLACKPINK.
Reportedly, YG Entertainment is currently negotiating an agreement among the other three members to promote as BLACKPINK members for six months every year. This is a similar contract agreement with Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun. While YG Entertainment has responded to the article by revealing that they were still negotiating.
