Bheed didn’t attract Bheed

Classics can be considered Instagram-friendly as they seem aesthetic but who enjoys the idea of being fascinated by the idea of experiencing it these days? Bheed starring Raj Kumar Rao, Dia Mirza, Bhumi Pednekar, Aditya Srivastava, and Ashutosh Rana is reported to have not entertained the audience enough. The film was directed by the conventional director Anubhav Sinha who made films like Article 15, Ra One, and Thappad and is reported to have flopped for experimenting with the current day interests. The black-and-white cinematography of the film was reported to be the one to blame.

Media professionals believe that choosing to film a movie in black and white cinematography is believed to just invoke nostalgia and can be described as nothing more than the director’s love for cinema. Though the film starred immense talent it was only capable of making only 15 lakhs so far. It is believed that the film has not been able to even meet its promotional cost so it can be considered a wonder if it manages to earn its production cost.

The film revolves around the tale of migrant workers and it is reported that many netizens referred the film to be anti-Indian which left the director disappointed. While many directors come up with a vision to make films that may be age-ahead films or to portray the contrary Anubhav Sinha’s take on going back and exploring the beauty of old-age films appears to have failed. Bheed, when translated into English, is referred to as a crowd and the film happens to not have attracted Bheed.
