Lover
The recent Tamil film Lover was released last Friday and garnered a good response at the box office. The film was dubbed as True Lover in Telugu. However, the Telugu version could have a better run than expected. Meanwhile, we have an update about its OTT release.
The movie revolves around Arun and Divya, who have been in love since college. However, Arun can’t see Divya talking closely with someone else. Arun’s behaviour drifts them apart, making Divya break up with him several times. The music for the movie was composed by the talented Sean Roldan.
Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Harish Nagalakshmi Kumar, Saravanan, Geetha Kailasam and Harini Sundararajan in supporting roles. Shreyaas Krishna handled the cinematography for the film, while Magesh Raj Pasilian and Yuvaraj Ganesan produced it.
As per reports, Disney+ Hotstar has bought the digital rights of True Lover. The movie will reportedly premiere on March 8, 2024, on the platform, four weeks after its theatrical release. However, the makers have yet to make an official announcement. Along with this, the Telugu language channel Star Maa also acquired the movie’s satellite rights.
