The Teacher locks its digital release date..!

South Indian one of the top leading lady Amala Paul’s return to Malayalam industry after a while marked with ‘The Teacher’. The film is released on 2nd December on Big screens. Although the film didn’t make many commercial returns, the film bagged mixed to positive reception. This revenge drama is from the makers of Fahadh Faasil-Sai Pallavi starrer Athiran and the writing team of Take Off.

Reportedly, on the day of release itself, the digital rights of ‘The Teacher’ are with Netflix India. The streaming giant has confirmed that the film will stream on Netflix India from 23rd December.

Comparatively, the digital release for the film is so early and hardly within 20 days of release. This could be due to the film’s underperformance at the theatres.

Touted as a revenge drama, follows the plot of a school teacher whose life turns upside down after a sexual assault. A private video of hers surfaces, making things harder for her.

Amala Paul plays the titular protagonist. The tagline of the movie reads
“Never Forgive. Never Forget”.

Helmed by Vivek who is known for Athiran and written by PV Shajikumar. The film has star cast includes Amala Paul, Manju Pillai, Chemban Vinod Jose, Hakkim Shah, Prashant Murali, Nandu, Harish Penguin, Anumol K. Manoharan, Maala Parvathi, and Vineetha Koshy in pivotal roles.
