South Indian Queen Trisha was last seen in Raangi, which hit screens in December, and is all set to have its digital premiere. According to the makers, the action thriller is all set to drop on Netflix on January 29. The film, directed by M Saravanan, has Trisha playing a journalist named Thaiyal Nayagi, who never refrains from questioning right from wrong.
In the context of the story, she discovers that a teenage terrorist from Tunisia has been interacting with her 16-year-old niece’s fake account, her life takes a completely different turn, putting the lives of her niece herself in danger.
The movie cast includes Anaswara Rajan, Bekzod Abdumalikov, Lizzie Antony, John Mahendran, Gopi Kannadasan and Waqar Khan. Though the film bagged mixed reviews with Trisha gaining an appreciation for her performance.
On the professional front, she is having the release of the second instalment of Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, which is all set to drop on April 28. The makers have already shared a glimpse of the film. Trisha is the leading lady in the Thalapathy67 which is tentatively titled Vijay’s next project.
